Becki Johnson

Veterinary Assistant

A Georgia native and Kennesaw State English graduate, I transitioned into veterinary medicine seven years ago after working in animal rescue, and now enjoy helping pets thrive while spending my free time hiking and exploring the outdoors with my two dogs, Pringles and Tate.

I was born and raised in Georgia, more specifically Lawrenceville. I earned my bachelor's degree in English in 2013 from Kennesaw State University. After years of not knowing what I wanted to be when I grew up, I dove head first into the animal world about seven years ago and never looked back. I started at a huge shelter, so my taste for rescues and helping the helpless has stayed with me all these years. I still happily help out with non-profits where I can. For the past 2 years I worked at an all cat clinic, and have been itching to get back with working with dogs regularly. While I love my feline friends, canines will always be a soft spot. My favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is seeing those pets that seem so far gone come back. In my free time I enjoy hiking with my dogs, working out, and just generally being outdoors. I have 2 dogs, a 10 year old golden doodle named Pringles and a 5 year old collie mix named Tate.
